The sun came out to make for a beautiful day. We started off the day passing the "Talking Stick". Everyone who wanted, told us something they did this weekend or something they were thinking about.
We are reading more books on color and had an interesting conversation about how people who are blind read, after sharing this book "The Black Book of Colors". It was interesting to see and feel Braille writing.
We started a week of Nursery Rhymes and will be bringing home a stack of little books we are coloring. Here is a good explanation on why we do nursery rhymes in kindergarten!
