Thursday!

We worked HARD all day!!  I read another favorite book "Mr. Gumpy's Outing" and I talked about "action words", explaining that action words are words that tell what people and animals do.  We then acted out all of the wonderful action words in the book; trampling, bleating, flapping, and mucking about!

We continued on with our study of shape  and sang the "Shape Song".  We also celebrated a birthday and had grandparents visiting from Scotland!

We stayed busy doing our literacy jobs...
