Monday!

Bugs 'R' Us.......we have started with all things bugs for a couple of weeks.  Today we discussed symmetry and butterflies.  The kindergartners are using oil pastels to color their butterflies.  First they traced a pattern and learned how to cut out something on the fold.....

In the afternoon we enjoyed a wonderful Science assembly.  Rhys Thomas, from SCIENCE CIRCUS, used juggling to explain important scientific ideas; gravity, centripetal force, centers of gravity, physics, force, gyroscopic, gyroscope, rotation, angle, and centrifugal force.  He was funny, smart and VERY entertaining!!!

In PE, the kindergartners learned how to CUP STACK.......
