Friday!

What a FUN day!!!!!  We worked on buggy art projects - the kindergartners are making ants, dragonflies, moths, butterflies and caterpillars.  We will finish them up on Monday and get them up in the hallway and I will send photos!

We had our ZERO WASTE PICNIC outside, under the shelter, to celebrate Earth Day.  It was really fun.  I am posting one photo, from Camryn's mom, and hope to get the rest up this weekend..............it was wonderful!  After the event I asked the kindergartners what they were thinking about while they were eating lunch.  I was hoping to get all of these interesting and thoughtful comments about protecting the earth by not adding to the landfill and any of the other lofty ideas we have been discussing lately...but the first answer to "What were you thinking about while we were sitting outside eating lunch?" was "dessert!".
