Thursday!

I am busy assessing these brilliant kindergartners to get ready for March conferences and progress reports.  It's fun to have some individual time with them and celebrate their successes!

I shared the "5 Point Scale" with the students today.  It's a great tool for gauging emotions, noise level, and teaching social skills.  It will help them with self-regulation - to become better self-managers.  Gotta love anything that helps navigate life in a more socially appropriate way!!

Today in art the kindergartners learned about Jasper Johns use of primary colors before they had a chance to do their own paintings of the number "100".
